The Tigers’ bad night gets worse as they give away a penalty with Bunty Afoa being offside at the kick-off, and most of the crowd has just about tuned out of this one after a very one-sided second half.

After the Warriors give away a penalty of their own the home side gets what could be their final chance to produce a highlight, and it looks like Jarome Luai might create it when he slices through a gap in centre field, runs past fullback Taine Tuaupiki and charges towards the left corner, only to be dragged down by a chasing Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

One final raid for the Tigers in the final minute gives them a scoring chance, but Adam Doueihi’s looping pass is intercepted by Jacob Laban.

It’s a comfortable victory for the Warriors, who will remain in the NRL’s top two after 19 rounds.
