A couple of injury blows now. Jake Trbojevic is off for Manly, for a head injury assessment and to check a cut under his eye, while Dragons centre Moses Suli also leaves the field for a HIA. Looks like one-time NSW Origin fill-in centre Damien Cook is switching to the centres again, with Jacob Liddle on at hooker.

The Dragons go on the attack, and are desperate to find some kind of spark – their last-tackle bombs haven’t done much damage yet. Kyle Flanagan runs it on the last and goes within a couple of metres, the Sea Eagles are penalised for offside, Luciano Leilua takes a quick tap and pounces on a try from point-blank range!

You did kind of get the feeling if the Dragons were going to get a try, doing it from one metre out with the defence not paying attention might be how they’d do it, but points are points and the hosts have officially started their comeback now.

Sea Eagles 16, Dragons 6 after 33 minutes
