Race 5

1. Hanuman resumes here for a new stable and has been placed in each of four starts. He only needs to maintain that form to be the one to beat here. 7. Hard Choice debuts here after two trials and should be in the thick of things based on those efforts. 5. Zoysia is a former Chris Waller-trained galloper that ran fourth at this track earlier this month. 14. Sunday Lemonade was on debut at this track last September when midfield and should be prominent here first-up.
How to play it: Hanuman to win.

Race 6

2. Feared resumed from a spell for a new stable with a win at Tamworth at his latest start and only needs to maintain that form to be hard to hold out again. 1. Bounding Bon ran well at this track last time out when finishing second and can be in the finish again. 3. Heta scored in good style on the Beaumont track at Newcastle when last produced and can be in the thick of things again. 5. Call Me Terry has been midfield in his recent starts here and can get into the minor money without surprising.
How to play it: Feared to win.

Race 7

1. Brutal Love has been racing in fine form with wins at this track and Wellington before a let-up and then a second at this track before scoring a last-start victory here as favourite last month. He’s had a trial to be kept ticking over for this and is set to run well again. 2. Kranich was a Highway winner at Rosehill before being spelled and has performed well in three runs since resuming, including a last-start second at this track. 7. Micro Mikki has been just behind the placings in three Highway contests at his latest three starts and looks suited here despite the wide alley. 13. Poisen Point is resuming and has a good record and can sprint well fresh.
How to play it: Brutal Love to win.

Race 8

1. Blue Guitar is resuming from a spell here on the back of a quiet trial at this track. He bobs up every now and again and has the talent on his day to give this a shake while fresh. 2. Mrs Bull is never far from the action and resumed from a break with a close-up fourth at Wyong. Another forward showing is on the cards. 5. Sidenay won two on end at Tamworth before a last-start third at Mudgee and has claims again. 6. Stockholm is a last-start winner at this track and shouldn’t be discounted.
How to play it: Blue Guitar each way.

Race 9

2. Press Forward won at this track four starts ago and comes into this after a last-start fifth here. He can make an impact here on his best form. 3. Water Lad resumed from a spell with a solid fourth at Scone and can be thereabouts with a repeat. 5. Miss Capricorn disappointed last time out but her previous two starts were solid. 7. Green Pineapple failed in a Highway last time out and resumes here and is a first-up winner.
