THE Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its Spring forecast for 2026.
And the good news is that gardeners should watch for early plant growth as temperatures start to rise.

Many regions throughout America will see less rain than normal in April, reported Southern Living.
This will be followed by increased rain in May.
It comes as the Old Farmer’s Almanac has just released its long-range weather predictions for spring 2026.
Spring 2026 will also bring cooler-than-normal temperatures for most of Canada, according to the famous yellow book.
However, its “forecast reflects weather deviations from normal for the spring months of April and May,” added the 2026 Old Farmer’s Almanac Canadian Edition.
